Writing with purpose
Introduction
When begginers first get into music, people often tell them to learn things like scales, harmony and theory in general.
While music theory ir VERY useful and necessary and you definetly should study it, sometimes it is like telling someone learning to draw to study anatomy before they even learn how to draw lines.
Though knowledge is never a waste of time - someone who understands anatomy can probably draw humans better than someone who knows nothing at all - when you're looking for results it can really hold you back.
